More than 80 of our attorneys devote either a portion of their practice or their entire practice to insurance law. Our insurance team covers virtually all the major legal issues faced by insurers today and our experience in the field is both broad and deep. For example, our Directors & Officers practice, a hallmark of our firm, was started by name partner Stuart Philip Ross who represented an insurer in the first D&O rescission suit ever filed.

In addition, we have handled hundreds of bad faith and extracontractual matters in state and federal courts across the country, and we have achieved landmark court decisions in the areas of Mass Tort, Environmental, and General Liability. Our Professional Liability and Employment Practices Liability groups represent a number of insurers offering errors & omissions and general employment policies. Finally, we work with several insurers who offer policies to specialized industries such as health care and media.
