Our lawyers are experienced in the fields of copyright, trademark, and intellectual property (IP) law. We have represented individual inventors, companies seeking to protect trademarks and intellectual property, artists, reporters, and media outlets. We have undertaken numerous responsibilities for our clients in these matters, including the following:
- We represent inventors and patent holders in infringement cases, working to win favorable settlements or serving our clients’ best interests at trial.
- We work on the defense of cases involving copyright infringement on the Internet; in fact, we were involved with one of the very first of these Internet cases.
- We serve as local counsel for patent firms and other entities, handling a wide variety of IP claims.
- We represent clients in trademark actions and other IP matters, trying whenever possible to mediate or arbitrate favorable solutions before litigation.
With four offices nationwide, RDB attorneys have represented our clients in IP matters across the country. Our representation extends from the inventor of the accordion-folded car shade and the patent holders of thermoplastic bonding methods to the trademark owner of the acronym “COPS.”
