What We Do

RDB’s clients are among the largest, most successful companies in the country and our lawyers are involved in challenging and high-stakes matters ranging from complex insurance litigation to financing deals for golf courses.

Services and Practices
Our lawyers service companies in a range of industries including insurance, media, correctional facilities, association and non-profit, professional services such as lawyers and accountants, real estate, hospitality and more. A hallmark of our firm is our comprehensive insurance practice, considered one of the finest and most sophisticated in America. If you don’t know what insurance litigation and counseling involve - and as a law student or lawyer outside the field, we don’t expect that you would - you’re going to be intrigued. Insurance matters present some of the most complex legal disputes in the courts today, from securities law to First Amendment issues, along with a host of other challenges not found in many other types of practice.

Our Offices
RDB lawyers handle matters ranging from complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution to employment-related counseling and transactions such as real estate joint ventures and golf course financing. Although we have a number of large, national clients serviced by all four RDB offices, each office is also unique with its own regional clients and practice specialties.

Associates
Although our associates generally develop expertise within certain areas over time, they are not forced into rigid practice groups. Particularly during their first several years here, associates take on a wide variety of matters. This exposure encourages the development of a broad, problem-solving perspective focused on client needs and results rather than on narrow understandings of discrete areas of the law. It also enables associates to identify the branches of our practice that they are most interested in pursuing.
