Law Students: Week in the Life
So what is associate life really like? Unless you’ve already worked as a summer associate, you probably don’t have a sense for what a lawyer in a private firm actually does all day. In fact, depending on where you were a summer associate, you still might not know. Instead of a blizzard of adjectives and vague generalities, we thought we’d give you the real thing: day-by-day, hour-by-hour accounts of a week in the life of young attorneys and summer associates at RDB.
Prashant K. (P.K.) Khetan
Prashant graduated from the George Washington University and joined RDB in 2003 after a clerkship at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and two years in the litigation department of a Baltimore-based law firm.
Brad Liggett
Brad was a summer associate in the Orange County office in 2007 while in his second-year at J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University.
Sara Doran
Sara was a summer associate in the firm’s Chicago office in 2007 while in her second year at University of Michigan Law School.
Nina Santiago
Nina Santiago was a summer associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office in 2007 while in her second year at Georgetown University Law Center.
Clarence Y. Lee
Clarence Lee is an associate in Ross, Dixon & Bell’s Washington, DC office. He joined the firm in 2007 after graduating from Washington University School of Law and working at an Arlington, Virginia firm for two years.
